After day 26 this is the last time I get to do Pure Cardio with Cardio Abs in the Insanity Challenge schedule. Of all the month one workouts I will probably rate Pure Cardio as my number one favorite. I have always liked it’s fast pace and of course the fact it doesn’t have any repeat moves. You become so busy with the workout that it’s over before you know it.
Day 26 Pure Cardio With Cardio Abs
Pure Cardio with Cardio Abs will be sorely missed as I continue on the Insanity Challenge. I know that month two has about 20 minutes added to each workout so I feel the pain coming very soon. Day 26 was no doubt my best bout with this routine. My breaks were minimal and I felt great through the whole workout. There are only two moves that really kick my butt. One of them that I mentioned before was the Frog Jumps. Frog Jumps get me pretty quickly and it’s hard for me to do more than 30 seconds of that move. Today I probably did just a shade over 45 seconds. The other move that kills me is called the Pedal. Not a hard move but what I think gets me here is where it is in the line up. I go pretty hard right before we go into the Pedal. All I know is that chick Alicia is a beast with this move. I’m grasping for air and a break and she is motoring through it hard. Day 26 Pure Cardio with Cardio Abs was a great workout and now I only have 1 workout left of month 1 before the recovery week begins.
Day 26 Pure Cardio With Cardio Abs Nutrition
Nutrition is always going to be the number 1 key to success with any program. As I progress through the Insanity Challenge I feel my nutrition has been pretty good. Well for me personally it’s been better than ever. I continue to track my nutrition everyday and meet my nutrition goals. Today I went back to my usual breakfast of egg whites and whole wheat bread. It’s probably the most common thing I eat for breakfast but it’s getting harder to eat it everyday. At lunch I prepared the Proatmeal recipe from the Insanity Nutrition Plan. Not a typical lunch item but I was a little lazy today and this is something that’s quick to make. My snacks for the day remain the same with Shakeology in one and a Pure Protein bar and Turkey Jerky in the other. Being today is Friday it’s our weekly trip to Chick-Fil-A. Not the best option I know, but this is something my kids look forward to, and we missed it last week. So there is no getting out of it today. I order the Grilled chicken sandwich plain and took away 1/2 of the bun with a small fruit cup and a cup of water. Making the best of the situation was my goal. I kept my calories close to my daily goal and finished at 1951 for the day. My macro’s were higher in the carbs than I like at 44-37-19. Stay Tuned for my last workout in Month 1.
