Day 61 of the Insanity Challenge has come to a close. Today was the last go around with Max Interval Plyo. It’s another workout I’m not sad to say goodbye to. Only two more days left in this round of Insanity. Which means only one more Max Workout and then the Fit Test. I’m excited to see how my fit test numbers will be since I’ve been so sore these last few weeks.
Day 61 Max Interval Plyo
Max Interval Plyo is still a very hard workout for me. The Plyo and push ups in this workout just kick my butt. Either way it’s day 61 and I’m so close to the end I can actually picture me making all the way through this challenge. I will admit my mind was not into this workout today. Although I pushed play and went at it with good intentions I just wasn’t ever in the right mind-set. I felt tired and nauseated most of the workout from trying to push the intensity. I really feel that my body is telling me it needs a break from the Insanity. I just can’t stop now being so close to the end. I have one Max workout left tomorrow in the way of Max Cardio Conditioning and then Sunday is the Final Fit Test and I’m done. Even if just go through the motions I’ve got to get this thing done. I have only missed one workout this entire challenge and that was during the recovery week. This week continues to be the toughest of all the weeks for me. 2 days remain, wish me luck.
Day 61 Max Interval Plyo Nutrition
Here we go, day 61 and my nutrition is still on point. I’m really proud of myself for sticking to this during the entire challenge and to only have 2 more days is crazy. I started day 61 off right with some egg whites and whole wheat toast. I followed it up with my favorite snack item, Shakeology and went with the Shaun T recipe once again. Lunch was a play on a left over meal from yesterday. I prepared the chicken meatball recipe on day 60 and made extra meatballs. Today I took the extra meatballs and mixed it with the tomato sauce only. I didn’t add the whole wheat noodle because of the extra carbs. My kids have been craving going to Chick Fil A since I cut out our weekly family trip a few weeks ago. I broke down and decided we could go today. When I go there I decided to try one of their new premium salads. I ordered the Grilled garden salad with fat-free honey mustard dressing. The dressing will kill any healthy salad so I only used about 1/4 of the packet to give the salad a little taste. I wasn’t too impressed with the salad I have to say and won’t be ordering that again anytime soon. I finished day 61 with 1998 calories and my macro-nutrients at 42-37-21. Stay tuned.
