Probably the most frequently asked question about P90X.

What’s needed to do the P90X workouts, that does’nt come with the program?

P90X is one of the best selling in home workout videos for a reason. IT WORKS!! But something people like to know is what they need to get in order to do the workouts.

I will break down what you have to have and what is recomended.

What You Have To Have:

1.)Pull-Up Bar or a place to do Pull-Ups

P90X Chin up Bar

2.)A set of dummbells or a set of resistance bands

P90X Resistance Bands

That is it, but that is the bear minimum.

What Is Recomended (in addition to above items):

1.)Yoga mat

P90X Yoga/Plyo Mat

2.)Yoga Blocks

P0X Yoga Blocks

3.)Heart Rate Monitor

4.)Push-Up Bars

5.)P90X Results & Recovery Drink

Now I know thats a lot of things, but I do suggest you have at least these four items:
1.)Pull up Bar
2.)Resistance Bands/Dumbbells
3.)Yoga Mat
4.)P90X Recovery Drink

You need these 4 items to get the most out of P90X. You will be doing a lot of pull ups in P90X so the pull up bar is a must (unless you have a way to do them). Every resistance workout with P90X show the workout done with resistance bands and dumbbells, so you can use one or the other here. You can get away without the yoga mat, however on the days you do Yoga X, Stretch X and Ab ripper X there is a lot of floor work, and if you do not have a well cusioned floor you miss not having one. Now, the Recovery Drink, to me it is one of the most important supplements to take while doing P90X. It is not there to bulk you up, it is to aid in muscle fatigue and soreness. After an intense weight training workout, your muscles are depleted of glycogen. The sugar in the recovery drink is immediately absorbed into the muscles to replenish those glycogen stores which your muscles need to rebuild and repair themselves after a hard weight training workout. Now, you can substitue another shake for the P90X Recovery Drink although I don’t suggest it. If you decide to go this route you want about 4:1 ratio shake.

Reasons NOT To Buy P90X on Ebay

P90X You have probably seen the P90X infomercial or one of our many others on TV. You like many other people have come to eBay to look for a deal. Your probably wondering, “Why is P90X so cheap on eBay?” “Is it safe to buy?” I am going to tell you why you don’t want to buy from the wrong person.

#1. IF YOU SEE “No NUTRITION GUIDE,NO CALENDER, NO WORKOUT GUIDE STAY AWAY” Its just not cost effective for the pirates out there to copy the guides, but it’s easy to copy the DVD’s

#2. If listed on eBay and they have sold several in the past or have more than one listed something wrong most likely it’s a fake.

#3. If they have all their auctions set to private so you can’t see what they sold in the past something is wrong. Beachbody Coach’s use to be able to sell on eBay, but this was a long time ago and they can’t do it anymore! A few still try to break the rules by trying to hide their listings, but many of these are also fakes from China who try to hide there listing by making them private.

#4 They also list shorter versions of the title. Only listing P90 instead of P90X but are selling P90X. P90 is another program we sell. But if you see P90X under P90 stay away! You will also see this on Google adds if you see things like P-90-X or P 90 X with spaces or P_90_X Stay away these are mostly fakes from China.

#5. Many of the fakes I see are list between $65-$85 dollars.

#6. If you see download P90X for free this is also an Illegal download.

#7. If you see Nutrition Guide and Workout Book on PDF this is also a fake.

#8. Also lookout for people selling the books and DVDs separate. I have seen each sell for $75 or more why would you want to pay $150 for something you can get both for $119.85… With so many fakes out there the books, workout calendars, and nutrition guides, have become valuable by themselves. So they break them up to rip you off.

Please make sure you read the fine print in any eBay ad!
