Day 28 and week 4 have already came and went. It’s starting to feel as if this whole Insanity Challenge is going to be over before I know it.
Week 4 In Review
I had another awesome week of Insanity workouts. Pushed myself harder this week and was able to start doing the entire warm up session in each workout with out a break. And the last workout of the week (day 27) was probably the best Insanity Workout I have had ever. Not much to report in regards to the scale moving though. My goal when I started this Challenge was to drop in body fat percentage and not to worry too much about the weight. I’m officially down to 182 pound which is about 3 pounds from my starting weight. I’m curious to see my measurements and pic on day 30 to see if there has been any change. It has been documented many times that with Insanity the weight starts to come off in month 2. Most of the time Insanity is a shock to the body causing the body to hold more water weight which is supposed to correct itself by week 5 or 6, sometimes 7. Again not to worried about the weight, looking to lose more inches and body fat. My cardio is well improved in only 28 days so I have to say I’m pretty impressed with that aspect. Next week is the recovery week which I’m looking forward to as it should give my body the rest it has been craving.
Week 4 Nutrition
Nutritionally my week was good. I finished the week with my goals just about perfect once again (image below). I had a few days where I had a harder time scheduling things out as I was running out of food for the week. So it became slim pickings at the end of the week before I could go restock. I have with exception of our usual days I stayed away from all fast food and dining out restaurants. The one time was our family’s weekly tradition to go to Chick Fil A. But I kept it clean and had a Grilled chicken sandwich and a fruit cup. Sunday is the other day we go out with friends and family to a restaurant and today’s choice was Wendy’s. Staying committed to myself I steered clear and only order a side of apple slices and a water and I ate when I returned home. I workout way to hard all week to blow it on junk food. Stay committed and stay focused people!
