What’s Up Team Fit Force!!
How did you do last week? Did you get in your workouts? How was your nutrition?
This week I discussed how to Burn More Belly Fat. Did you check it out? If you missed it you can click here. I started preparing my meals in advance this week and I have to say it’s been a blessing in disguise. It makes keeping my nutrition in check so much easier and it actually takes less time..who knew! Friday’s update I’ll let you in on how I do it.
Week of 8/26/13 – 9/01/13
MONDAY – Strength Training workout: I did 10-12 reps and 3 sets of each of the following:
- Single Leg squats
- Step Up Trusts
- Dumbbell Swing
Had a great workout today. Always a big calorie burn on leg day. Go intense or go home!
TUESDAY – Off on errands
WEDNESDAY – Strength Training workout: I did 10-12 reps and 3 sets of each of the following:
- Pull Ups (w/bands)
- Renegade Row
- Dumbbell Curls
- Standing Curls w/ bands
Enjoyed today’s workout. Added drop sets to the last set of each move. Talk about intense.
THURSDAY – Ab Challenge:
- Toe Touches
- Russian Twists
- 30 Second Planks
- Oblique Crunches
FRIDAY – Les Mill Pump : Pump & Burn
Had another day of errands so I needed something quick. Les Mill Pump (Pump & Burn) fits in nicely. I attempted to add more weight but couldn’t finish the complete set. I think I’ll continue to do it that way until I can finish each set without having to drop down.
WEEK IN REVIEW:
Not a bad week. In fact it was one of my better nutrition weeks lately. I started to prepare my meals n advance and this really helps me a lot. I only prepare my lunch for everyday of the week. The other meals aren’t an issue for myself. This worked really well and it takes a lot less time than you’d think. I probably spent less than an hour preparing am entire weeks worth of lunch. I had a busy week making it more difficult to hit all my workouts. I’m pleasantly pleased that I got in my 3 strength workouts. Looking forward to a new week.
