What’s Up Team Fit Force!!
How did you do last week? Did you get in your workouts? How was your nutrition?
I had a better week this past week. As you may or may not know I tentatively started RevAbs. If you have followed me or even read some of my review posts (Insanity) you know I personally do not like repeating the same workout in the same week. For some reason it’s a real downer for me and I just can’t wrap my mind around pushing myself hard. Having said that I noticed this week that RevAbs repeats 3 workouts in the same week, REALLY! Not impressed with that at all. However I do really like the style of the RevAbs workouts. Brett Hoebel has you do what more of a strength training hitt workout (interval). We’ll do a set of strength training moves followed up with some cardio before moving on to the next set. This accelerates fats loss and calorie burn. Back to the repeat workouts, I didn’t do them, I changed the schedule and added my own workouts to the schedule. I’ll be continuing with RevAbs but only the 3-4 workouts per week because I refuse to repeat a workout.
Do you struggle with repeating the same workouts in the same week or am I alone?

Week of 9/30/13 – 10/06/13
MONDAY – RevAbs Total Strength (Mercy Abs)
My first Revabs workout and it went pretty well. It’s not as intense as Insanity but I like the overall structure of the workout.
TUESDAY – RevAbs Fire Up Your Abs
This is a great core workout. I really love the fact that we work on our back. Most ab workouts will skip the back muscle. Great routine.
WEDNESDAY – RevAbs Power Intervals
Another interval style workout that really burns up those calories.
THURSDAY – P90X Cardio X
DYK – That if you cut out the yoga and kenpo portions of Cardio X it’ a great 25 minute cardio workout. Love it! Do whatever it takes to get it done.

I’ll be continuing with RevAbs about 3 days per week. And incorporate some other workouts to the mix to keep the variety fresh. I’m also going to attempt to start running again. Back in July I started running only to find I had a foot issue that made running extremely painful. So of course I stopped. I’m hopeful I can run without pain. My goal would be to run 2 miles per day (3-5 days/week). I’ll also be getting back into softball this coming week. So all in all I’m excited to push hard and get things done.
What’s are your goals for the coming week?
